Working Efficiently

One advantage of my workflow is speed.

For interview-led projects, I use professional transcription software to convert recorded conversations into editable text within minutes. That gives me a strong working draft almost immediately, allowing me to spend far more time on the creative work of structuring, expanding, editing and refining the manuscript rather than manually typing recordings.

Technology helps remove repetitive administration, but it doesn't replace the writing. Every manuscript still requires careful editing, additional research, restructuring and narrative development before it becomes a finished book.
